OVERVIEW OF 2026 DRAMA CLASSES
In 2026, Quench Theatre will be offering drama classes in various locations on the Central Coast. These classes are designed to nurture and develop acting and improvisational skills within a supportive and creative environment.
Current classes on offer
GPCC Class: On Tuesday afternoons at Green Point Christian College (CAPA 5) from 3.30pm - 5pm, Quench Theatre is offering a Year 7-11 TheatreSports™ class. This class will dive into the world of competitive improvisation and teach the skills and games of TheatreSports™, a form of improv created by Keith Johnstone. Students attending this class will also have the opportunity to represent GPCC in the TheatreSports™ School’s Challenge which is hosted annually by Impro Australia. In Term 2, GPCC will be submitting an intermediate team (Years 9 and 10) and the heat will be held at Mackillop Catholic College on Tuesday 19th May, 2026 at 7pm. Come along and cheer the students on!

Adult Class: On Tuesday nights at Gracelands, 25 Forresters Beach Rd, Forresters Beach, from 7pm - 8.30pm, Quench Theatre is offering an adults TheatreSports™ class. This class will dive into the world of competitive improvisation and teach the skills and games of TheatreSports™, a form of improv created by Keith Johnstone. Students will have the chance to be part of a TheatreSports Showcase at the end of Term 2.

Instructor: Rouba El Hage, MFA.
All classes will be taught by Rouba El Hage, Quench Theatre’s Artistic Director. Rouba recently returned from the United States, where she earned her Masters of Fine Arts in Directing at Florida State University. During her time abroad, she directed numerous productions and taught theatre and acting classes at the university level. Rouba also brings over 20 years of experience teaching High School Drama and has studied improvisation internationally, including at The Second City in Chicago and at the ‘10 Days with Keith Johnstone’ course in Calgary, Canada. She has also played a significant role in Impro Australia’s TheatreSports™ Schools Challenge and has obtained the license to host TheatreSports™ shows on the Central Coast in 2026.
Rouba has been cleared to work with children and has her WWCC number.

Class Sizes
To ensure that each student receives personalized and high-quality instruction, class sizes are intentionally limited. Each class will accommodate no more than 16 students, ensuring the instructor can focus on the individual development of every participant.
2026 Term Schedule
The Green Point Christian College classes coincide with the school’s term dates.
The Adult classes are organized into four terms throughout the year, each spanning eight weeks. These term dates are as follows:
· Term 1: Monday, February 9 – Tuesday, March 31
· Term 2: Monday, April 27 – Tuesday, June 16
· TheatreSports™ Showcase: Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20. Venue and times to be announced.
· Term 3: Monday, July 27 – Tuesday, September 15
· Term 4: Monday, October 12 – Tuesday, December 1
· Technical Rehearsal and Production: Friday, December 4 and Saturday, December 5. Venue and times to be announced.
Fees and Payment Information
Green Point Christian College classes: $20 per student, per class.
Adult classes: Each term consists of eight classes, with each class lasting one and a half hours. The total fee for a term is $250. Please note that all fees must be paid in full prior to attending the first class of each term. If a student decides to withdraw before the term concludes, the fees are non-refundable.

Application Forms
For each initial payment, an application form must be submitted. Please print the form, complete it, and return a scanned copy to quenchtheatreau@gmail.com.
*Applicants are required to submit the application form only once each academic year. This submission is sufficient regardless of the number of terms/classes the student enrolls in during the year. If there are any changes to the details provided in the original application, applicants should promptly inform Rouba as soon as possible to ensure that records remain accurate and up to date.

As class sizes are limited, spaces tend to fill up quickly. To ensure you do not miss out on your preferred class, we recommend acting promptly. Completing both your initial payment and the application form early will guarantee your place in the class.
